MAINTENANCE TESTING
Any process-driven industry benefits from routine maintenance testing of their electrical power system. Acceptance testing confirms the proper installation and that the equipment is free from factory defects before you are depending on it for your profitable manufacturing. Downtime affects valuable profits and delivery timelines. Testing to ensure your electrical power equipment is in optimal condition is a small price to pay compared to a disruptive unplanned outage.
ARC FLASH STUDY
Understanding the potential for an arc flash allows the facility equipment to be labeled with appropriate identifiers, including the potential incident energy available at each device or piece of equipment, the appropriate PPE required to protect the individuals that will be in contact or working with the equipment in question.
LOAD STUDY
A load study gives the individuals working with or around the facility equipment an accurate understanding of the amount of current present and the locations that are the most and least heavily loaded within the facility.
DEVICE COORDINATION
Device coordination concerns employee safety and making sure that the device settings are quick enough to minimize fault time and will allow the potential fault to clear as quickly as possible. This also will assist in minimizing property damage.
SHORT CIRCUIT ANALYSIS
Destructive energy from a short circuit can be mitigated by conducting a coordination study and by increasing the protection available to persons by completing the arc flash hazard analysis.
