Job Title: NETA Electrical Test Technician (Apprentice)

Reports To: Manager of Operations/Field Services
Location: North Alabama
Pay Scale: $22 Per Hour
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary
As an Apprentice Electrical Test Technician, you will be learning and developing in a fast-paced, mission-critical industry. You will work on customer sites to improve power system reliability for companies across the South East. After completing the apprenticeship program, you should be equipped to pass your NETA 2 exam and grow in this vital industry.
Duties & Responsibilites

Be a team player who is willing to develop and learn from more experienced technicians.

Carry out all testing procedures and assist more experienced technicians.

Be meticulous and troubleshoot problems, as well as assist in diagnosing and repairing faults.

Understand and analyze data and prepare reports for customers.

Professionally interact with customers and foster partner relationships to exceed client expectations.

Ensure a safe working environment for all involved. Comply with all safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
-
2 years of NETA electrical testing experience preferred

Ability and willingness to work extended hours to achieve customer success

Must be legally eligible to operate a motor vehicle

CDL preferred but not required

Able and willing to travel domestically

Electrical engineering degree is preferred, but not required

Ability to pass continual background checks as required by customers

Have and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
Mental/Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

Frequent standing, sitting and walking.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Continuous mental and visual attention, requiring constant alertness or activity.

Ability to talk and hear and see up close and far away.
