Job Title: Project Manager

Department: Operations

Reports To: Manager of Operations/Field Services

Location: Atlanta, GA (On-Site)

Pay Scale: $110,000 - $125,000

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary

The project manager oversees designated projects for the company in the Atlanta, GA market. The position requires planning and developing strategy, this includes defining goals and timelines for the project(s) they supervise. The project manager coordinates resources, manages equipment supply documentation, assigns tasks to the project team, and provides the team with direction and support to ensure deliverables are met on schedule. The project manager monitors project schedules to mitigate problems and leads in providing solutions for items in jeopardy to preserve the timeline. The project manager reports on project(s) progress, keeps management current on project(s) timelines, and ensures alignment with client and project team members

Duties & Responsibilites

Project Execution 

Oversee and ensure the successful execution of the project, aligning with project goals, budgets, and timelines.


Scheduling 

Manage project schedules, ensuring efficient utilization of time and resources.


Field Service Team Supervision 

Effectively manage Field Service teams, providing guidance, and support, ensuring coordination among team members.

 

Resource Allocation 

Allocate resources efficiently to meet project requirements, optimizing equipment, and personnel as needed.

Employee Review and Development

Conduct regular employee reviews, providing constructive feedback, and development for direct reports, if any.


Regular Communication with Customers 

Establish and maintain regular communication with the customers to relay any concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project duration.

Project Follow-Up

Conduct follow-ups with the customer after project completion, addressing post-project needs, and ensuring a positive customer experience.


Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of related experience in commercial construction and or facilities project management

  • College degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or a related business field preferred. May substitute work experience for a degree for the right candidate.

  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours to achieve customer success

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Must be legally eligible to operate a motor vehicle

  • Able and willing to travel domestically as needed

  • Electrical Engineering Degree preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to pass continual background checks as required by customer

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Proficient in Project management software, preferably Procore.

  • Have and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.

  • NETA Certification of Level 3 or Level 4 is preferred, but not required

Mental/Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

  • ​ Frequent standing, sitting and walking.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Continuous mental and visual attention, requiring constant alertness or activity.

  • Ability to talk and hear and see up close and far away.
