Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer
The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer supports and improves industrial plant operations through the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and instrumentation systems. This role requires a strong technical background in industrial manufacturing environments and the ability to support production reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience within Teflon or fluoropolymer manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

• Support day-to-day plant operations by troubleshooting and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues
• Design, modify, and improve electrical and control systems to enhance plant reliability and efficiency
• Provide technical support for instrumentation, PLCs, motors, drives, and power distribution systems
• Assist with maintenance planning, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Coordinate and support plant shutdowns, startups, and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support production goals
• Assist with capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related engineering degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial plant operations or manufacturing environments
• Strong working knowledge of electrical power distribution, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems
• Experience supporting continuous process manufacturing operations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control schematics
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Teflon, fluoropolymer, chemical, or related process manufacturing environments
• Experience with DCS systems and process instrumentation
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, ISA, and OSHA standards
• Project management or capital project experience
• Experience with reliability and preventive maintenance programs

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Travel: Up to 10%
Compensation: Pay ranges from $98,000 to $135,000 (depending on skillset, certifications, and experience) annually.
